Centerfield City Notice of Municipal Offices
Each person seeking to become a candidate for a non-partisan municipal office shall file a declaration of candidacy form in person with the city recorder or town clerk during office hours and not later than 5 p.m. between June 3 and June 7 and pay the filing fee, if one is required by municipal ordinance. The petition form is also to be filed during the same time period.
Qualifications for a candidate are: 10-3-301; 20A-9-203
1. Be a United States Citizen
2. Be a registered voter of the municipality.
3. Be a member of the municipality or recently annexed area for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
4. If elected from a council district, the person must be a resident of the council district.
5. To not be a convicted felon, unless their right to hold elective office has been restored.

City Recorder at 130 South Main, Centerfield, Utah between the hours of 9am and 5pm

Centerfield City was founded in the 1860's and is located 120 miles south of Salt Lake City, in Central Utah. Centerfield City is located in the southern end of Sanpete County, and is part of the Gunnison Valley. Other cities in the Gunnison Valley are Gunnison, Axtell, Fayette, and Mayfield. Centerfield City is a rural community with a high quality of life.
